Renee Coble

RENEE COBLE - Founder

In 2003, Renee Coble was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. After a long and arduous fight, it appeared that her battle against cancer was victorious, but her joy was short lived. Four years later, her cancer had returned and metastasized through her body. Not one to give up easily, Renee turned her personal plight into a statewide campaign of care and assistance for those who fight the same battle. With her love for horses, the passion and commitment from her family, as well as numerous personal friends, she is now totally dedicated to Renee’s Friends Funds mission and to the integrity that will always be consistent with the fund.

After traveling extensively, Renee and her husband Wayne settled into the rural life and now operate a small ranch in Colorado. Renee attended Michigan State University and Northern Illinois University majoring in business administration with a minor in music. She also obtained a degree in floral design while attending college in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Renee has performed with the Milwaukee Symphonic Orchestra and her other interests include sailing, gardening, and tennis. She loves both teaching and performing various equestrian disciplines and studied dressage under the tutelage of Janet Brown-Foy, one of the country’s most respected instructors and judges.

Our Board Members

The Renee's Friends Fund board is made up of friends and family of Renee Coble. We started this fund in response to a need that Renee first found when she was going through her first round of Chemo therapy. Since her diagnosis in 2003 Renee's Friends Fund has grown not only in the number of people that we can help but in the people that are on our board. Let us introduce ourselves to you by telling you why we work so hard for you and this fund.
